OUR TEAM
Emily – Creative Director
EMILY has over 23 years experience with premier hairdressers in Plymouth, building up a large and loyal client base before opening her own hair salon, Hair Jungle, in Plymouth in January 2012. She is fully qualified to NVQ3 and has a wealth of experience in all aspects of hairdressing including fashion cuts, hair colours and gents hair styling.
Besides delighting her own clients, Emily is also a Director of Hair Jungle Ltd and oversees the day to day operations of the hair salon, including staff training and strives to ensure every Hair Jungle client has a great experience.
Chelsea – Creative Director
Chelsea is the Balayage Queen and a very talented Hair Stylist, having worked her way up through an apprenticeship with Hair Jungle some years ago to become a Stylist in 2017, followed by well-deserved promotions to Senior Stylist and then Master Stylist. She is fully qualified in all aspects of ladies hairdressing, with a particular flair for superb colour and cuts and has quickly built up a large, loyal clientele. Chelsea looks forward to welcoming clients old and new to Hair Jungle.
Evelyn – Senior Stylist
Evelyn is a Senior Stylist with over 12 years of experience!
Is confident in all aspects of hairdressing including all colour services, gents and Afro hair!
Evelyn is a curly hair specialist! Loves creative and short/pixie cuts! Loves vibrant hair colours!
Paige – Stylist
Paige joined the Hair Jungle team in 2019 as an apprentice and head junior, quickly proving her talent and dedication. Now a fully qualified and highly skilled stylist, Paige has built a loyal clientele with her exceptional skills and expertise.
Her passion shines through in every service, with a particular focus on Balayage, colour correction, and highlights. Paige’s ability to transform hair with precision and creativity has made her a standout in the salon. Whether you’re a new client or a familiar face, Paige is dedicated to giving you the perfect look every time.
Islay – Senior Stylist
Islay is passionate about hairstyling with over 7 years of experience in the industry. Specialising in creating beautiful, blended looks, she loves working with live-in colours, blondes, and anything that requires that seamless blend. Whether it’s crafting the perfect sun-kissed blonde or transforming your hair with a vibrant copper hue, her goal is to create a personalised style that enhances your natural beauty. Islay also has a keen eye for cutting and styling hair, ensuring that each look is fresh, flattering, and unique.

Our Juniors are valuable members of the Team at Hair Jungle hair salon, Plymouth. Talented in many hair services, they are always ready to offer a warm welcome, have a fabulous touch when it comes to shampooing and head massage and are already showing a real flair for colour. They are all undertaking Hairdressing Apprenticeships and training to be Stylists, with a great passion to forge long-term careers in the industry.
You can book with our Juniors for selected half priced treatments, as part of their training, on Monday evenings from 4.30pm.
